chuckmanroe asked: Is it hard to get waivers for tattoos, once your in, for the Army right now?
The Army frown upon tattoos located on places easily visible such as the face, hands, ears and neck. Getting a waiver could range in difficulties depending on whether the tattoo is considered offensive, racial and/or radical and it’s location on the body. It is difficult to judge over the internet whether or not it will be allowed or some leniency be given to your part but the Army honestly prefers a person with little to no tattoos, which could lead to difficulties if you do have them.
Hopefully I helped.
